Our Story...

Capturing Beauty For A Cause was started two years ago solely to raise money for me (Alysa) to go to bible school in England. Well, it worked! Going to bible school gave me a year to seek the Lord about my future, and I found it!  God set a passion inside of me for photography, fashion, and people. Over the course of 10 months I was able to continue Capturing Beauty For A Cause by doing photo shoots for other students, participating in many classes, and teaching photography classes. The more I did that, the more I realised that this is what God was calling me to do.

So here I am today, just a typical Portland girl trying to make a difference for the Kingdom of God, by exposing the beauty that He has instilled in all of us to who ever I have the pleasure of Photographing. There are so many men and woman in this world that just need that one last boost of confidence in order to take the next step in there life. I want to be abel to provide that for them by showing them how amazing they already are.

So if you  are getting married, inviting a person into the world, a high school student, a dog, a cat, or a family with all of the above. Whatever you may be, you have a beauty that God has instilled in you and I would love to try and capture it for you.
